Why Choose a Rowing Machine?
Rowing is one of the most calorie-efficient forms of cardio. According to Harvard Health Publishing, 30 minutes of moderate stationary rowing burns around 210–294 calories depending on body weight, and up to 440 calories at a vigorous pace. Each stroke works approximately 86% of your muscle groups — legs, back, arms and core in one fluid movement.
Rowers are also low-impact and joint-friendly, which makes them suitable for a wide range of ages and fitness levels, and most models fold or stand upright when you're done.

Rowing Machines for Sale Brisbane — FAQ
How much does a rowing machine cost in Brisbane?
At Mr Treadmill, rowing machines start at $559 for the BodyWorx KRX290M and go up to $2,850 for the Matrix Commercial Rower. Water and programmable home rowers sit in the $900–$1,300 range.
What type of rowing machine is best for home use?
For most home users, a magnetic rower offers the best balance of price, quiet operation and compact size. If performance tracking and longevity are priorities, the Concept2 Model D is the gold standard.
Are rowing machines good for weight loss?
Yes. Harvard Health Publishing estimates vigorous stationary rowing burns roughly 255–440 calories in 30 minutes depending on body weight, while building muscle across your whole body.
How much space does a rowing machine need?
Most rowing machines need approximately 240cm x 60cm of floor space in use. Many fold or stand upright for storage. Our team can recommend compact models if space is limited.
Can I try a rowing machine before I buy?
Yes. Visit our showroom at 126 Robinson Rd East, Geebung — open 7 days — and try air, magnetic and water rowers side by side before you decide.
Do you deliver rowing machines across SEQ?
Yes. Brisbane delivery is $99. Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba and Ipswich delivery is $150. Same-week delivery is available on most models.
